Jessup Oral Pleadings - Video Clips
The White & Case Jessup Guide is a student-focused "how-to" manual containing recommendations designed to help students prepare for the Jessup Competition. The Jessup Oral Pleadings section of the White & Case Jessup Guide provides advice on developing oral argument skills and conducting oral pleadings. The following instructional video clips, taken from the 2004, 2007 and 2009 Jessup Final Rounds, contain positive examples of oral argument which correspond with recommendations in the Jessup Oral Pleadings section.

A standard introduction from the first oralist includes names of both oralists, the side they represent, a brief outline of the submissions each Agent will make and the allocation of time. The second oralist should introduce himself or herself and briefly outline the submissions he or she will make.
