Congratulations to Australian National University for winning the 2010 Jessup International Rounds and the White & Case Jessup Cup.

2010 White & Case Australian Jessup Tournament
2-6 February 2010


On 2-6 February, 16 teams from across Australia met in Canberra to compete in the 2010 White & Case Australian Jessup Tournament.  The winner of the 2010 Jessup Cup was the University of Western Australia and the runner-up was Australian National University. Both teams represented Australia at the Jessup World Championships in Washington, DC, in March.

Other awards included:

Best Overall Memorial - Bond University
Best Applicant Memorial - Bond University
Best Respondent Memorial - University of Sydney

Best Oralist - Louise Dargan (Macquarie)
Best Oralist in the Final Round - Samuel Thorpe (Australian National University)

Spirit of the Jessup Award - Victoria University

The Final Round judges included Justice William Bummow (High Court of Australia), Professor Donald R. Rothwell (Australian National University), and Mr. Henry Burmester QC (Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law).
