2011 White & Case Australia Jessup Tournament

University of Sydney - Australia National Champion


The 2011 White & Case Australia Jessup Tournament was held 1-5 February in Canberra. The winner of the 2011 Jessup Cup was the University of Sydney. The University of Western Australia placed second. Both teams will represent Australia in the White & Case Jessup International Rounds on 20-26 March 2011, in Washington, DC.

Best Applicant Memorial - University of Melbourne
Best Respondent Memorial - University of Tasmania
Best and Fairest - Flinders University
Spirit of the Jessup - Flinders University
Terry Connolly Friend of the Jessup Award - Professor Peter Radan
Best Oralist - P. Bateman, University of Sydney

The Final Round judges were the Honourable Robert French (Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia), Dr. Sarah McCosker (Office of International Law, Attorney-General's Department) and Professor Peter Radan (School of Law, Macquarie University).
